What is Hypnosis?

Hypnosis is a state of focused consciousness.  Hypnosis is a process involving a hypnotist and a subject who agrees to be hypnotized. Being hypnotized is usually characterized by concentration, suggestion, and expectation.  Once hypnosis is achieved reprogramming of the subconscious begins.  If you follow one of our professional Consulting Hypnotists’ directions no power on earth can prevent you from entering hypnosis.

Hypnosis has been approved by the American Medical Association (AMA) since 1958; In fact hypnosis was a required training in most medical schools in the early part of the twentieth century.  The British Government officially recognized hypnosis as a viable therapeutic tool through the Hypnotism Act of 1952 and hypnotism was accepted in the British Medical Association. In 1958, the American Psychiatric Association (APA) approved hypnotherapy for use by professionally responsible individuals.

Prestigious hospitals in the U.S. now use and teach hypnosis such as Mayo Clinic, Stanford University of Medicine, Beth Israel Medical Center, and the University of Texas Southwestern Medical in Dallas.  Now, more and more people are electing hypnosis over anesthesia for their surgery.  Some choose hypnosis for fear of not waking-up from anesthesia.  There are definite medical advantages offered by hypnosis; less bleeding, faster recovery time, and the need for less post-operative medications.

Hypnosis is not “mind control.” That is just an illusion. You are not asleep, just deeply relaxed but completely aware. You won’t do, or say anything you don’t want to. What you will do, is discover you were born with a set of incredibly powerful tools for positive change you simply haven’t yet uncovered or developed
